WBEL actually provides binary packages for Red Hat errata, compiled from
Red Hat's freely available SRPM packages (yes, they do provide those at
least), modified only as necessary to remove Red Hat trademarks and to
allow for up2date/yum/apt to be used to pull updates from non-RH
sources. You'll probably want to edit your /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources to
change the source it pulls packages from to be one of the mirrors, since
whiteboxlinux.org doesn't have much bandwidth. (Similar changes can also
be made to /etc/yum.conf if you use yum directly.)

There's also some GPG keys you have to import, but this should be done
for you if you use the GUI up2date. If for some reason it isn't done for
you, check the list archives for information on what to do, or ask
again. (Check -users, and if you don't find it, check -devel.)

Good luck with getting started with WBEL.
