[WBEL-users] Put it on a CD?

This is a wonderful project. I'd like to suggest that it be distributed on
CD-ROMs so as not to overload their T1 line. Also that would make the
distro accessible to me and others who can't download more than a few
megabytes over the phone line.

If the library doesn't want to go into the business of creating,
duplicating, and distributing CDs, it might want to consider a company
like Cheapbytes (cheapbytes.com). They have CDs of very many distributions
which they sell for about $3 per CD plus shipping. This includes Red Hat 9
but not, as far as I can tell, Red Hat Enterprise. Their Red Hat is called
Pink Tie. It comes on 3 CDs plus 3 more if you want the source RPMS. They
seem to have replaced all the Red Hat logos, etc., with Pink Tie, so it
would be instructive to look at their product, and perhaps to inquire
about their distributing White Box.

I have no connection with Cheapbytes except that I've bought a number of
their products and found them reliable. They are not the only such company
but I've never checked out any of the others. I am running Pink Tie with
no problems.

Good luck
