[WBEL-users] X windows stops working after kernel recompile

Hi, all,

I'm just starting to use Whitebox Linux.  Thanks a lot to all the people
contribute to this project!!!  I was thinking real hard about using
different distro without RPM (like slackware or debian...)

I've recompiled both kernel v2.4.25 and 2.4.26, and found out that the X
windows will segfault (or just die) with the new kernel.  During the
kernel building process, there is no error at all...

Once I boot up with the old kernel which comes with Whitebox, X windows
works again.  Anyone has the same problem?

ps:  Does anyone know how many people are using Whitebox Linux?  Just
curious...
