[WBEL-users] Samba Under WBEL

Hello,

I don't want to speak for other people but my reason for running WBEL is
probably true at least for some other people:

I need to run a couple of programs that are only available for a specific
version of linux and they don't even seem to install cleanly on other
versions (e.g. Oracle 9i AMD64 bit version). Thus do not have any problems
in upgrading the other programs (such as KDE) to the latest versions as long
as they do not affect using the specific programs.

I am rebuilding the current SRPM file on WBEL ... I'll see how it turns
out and post it to the list.

But, my question is, do you want to use that version. One of the main
reasons to use WBEL instead of Fedora Core 2 is that it is based on a
stable base of programs ... and if you upgrade programs, you are no
longer using the stable base, so you might as well use FC2.

If I can get the RPMS to install after they make, I'll post how I did
it.
