Nope.  In fact a Pentium compatible CPU is pretty much a requirement since
the only 386 kernel is the very minimal -BOOT kernel for the install
floppy/cd.  RHEL requires a Pentium Pro or better but I was forced to add
regular Pentium support back to get VIA's EPIA processors and we had about 
two dozen on site.
