This is definitely a problem (multi-arch / mutli-lib) ... and I am
personally waiting for an answer from the maintainer concerning if /
when apt-rpm is going to support multi-arch to decide apt's inclusion in
CentOS-4.  In fact, this one issue is probably going to move apt out of
the distro and into the contrib for i386 only in CentOS-4.  The apt
metadata will probably be included though.
