[WBEL-users] Installed WBEL 3.0 and can't connect to network

I recently installed WBEL 3.0 on an old Pentium II box.

The installation seemed to go smoothly. I first chose DHCP to connect
to the network.

However, when the system boots I get a failure message when it tries to
bring eth0 up.

I also tried to configure the box with a static IP address using the
network configuration tool.

I was able to activate eth0, but when I rebooted the box started
producing error messages when it got to the stage of bringing up eth0.

Any suggestions for solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
