Hmm.  I didn't know it applied to WBEL (or RHEL can someone confirm?), but
kudzu on Fedora Core 1 leaves the NIC in a bad state after probing it.

It _might_ have some effect on using USB and or Firewire devices, but I
believe those are handled by something else (whose name escapes me).
