     Like Edward wrote a couple of days ago, Network UPS Tools (NUT) is
a option, though it doesn't come with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 (and
thus WBEL 3.0).
     I've never used NUT, though I ought to give it a try from what I
read on its web page.  I've been using APC UPS Daemon (apcupsd), since I
have an APC UPS.

that appear to have been compiled for WBEL 3.0 in their download section.
