Dag Wieers has a very large apt/yum repository for 3rd party packages. 
Here is his website:

John Morris has included the address to Dag's yum repository in the
/etc/yum.conf file ... all that is needed is to add this line to your
yum.conf file:

### Dag RPM Repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 rpm
http://apt.sw.be redhat/el3/en/i386 dag

And you can then install all the files from Dag's site that have been
built for RHEL on WBEL with yum.
