Hello,

I just downloaded WBEL fixed 3.0 and installed it on an x86 PC. I then =
installed a firewall and an internet connexion via ppp with the 'network =
device configuration tool' (hang-up timeout set to 600). I succeed to =
connect to the internet and when I go to the internet with Konqueror, I =
have no problems.
I tried then to update WBEL with the graphical tool 'up2date network'. I =
succeed to connect to mirrors, download rpm headers and update cvs. But =
to do this, I tried a lot of times (4 hours) because my modem hangs-up =
without any reason. Sometimes after less than 1 minute when I log in, =
start the ppp connection and connect to 'Up2date Network'. It happens =
during rpm headers download or rpm download.
I looked in the /var/log/messages file and the pppd returns :

Hangup (SIGUP)
Modem hangup

It seems so to be a normal hang-up.

I suspect up2date because it always happens with it and not with =
Konqueror.

Did anyone else already have this problem ?

Thanks for any help.

Jean.
