Hello,
I was just wondering something. Windows has the "ipconfig /release"
command to release the DHCP lease. In essence, does the "ifdown ethX"
command in Linux do the same thing? Just was curious.
If not, is there a specific command in Linux to release a DHCP lease?
Thanks..
