The list was asked early in the RC2 cycle about whether Yum or Apt was
the choice, since up2date does both - and the concensus was to yummify
the repositories...
I wouldn't think it would take much to aptify them, especially since the
resources I've seen for other RHEL extra repositories seem to be going
to apt (Dag, FreshRPMs, AltRPMs, etc.)
Go for it, really - I'm not sure I can convince John to mirror the
aptification onto the primary server.
