Standard setup, I'm not sure what problem you're having.
- default route is to the boundary or gateway IP in the external NIC
- 192.168.1.0/24 is routed to the internal NIC
- external NIC policy DROP, accept ESTABLISHED and RELATED
- allow such incoming packets as you feel you want to support
- masquerade all packets from the internal IP range going out
via the external NIC
