Who says anything about "COMMUNITY"?  The library decided to do a rebuild
of the publically available RPMs for their use, and to provide a copy of
it to the world.  End of story.  If you don't like how Whitebox is managed
(which is your right), then there are other rebuild projects that may
better suit your style.  If I were John, everyone yelling at me would make
me more likely to shut off the main mirror and just keep the work I did
for myself.  Luckily, I'm not John.
