[WBEL-users] Oracle 10g ?

Hello,

I have installed Oracle 9.2.0.4 for x86_64 on WBEL. The caveats to watchout
for are to follow the prerequisite RPMS (many come from the i386 version)
and the requirments for the environment (such as LD_ASSUME_KERNEL etc.). One
undocumented requirement is to have the noexec option on the kernel at boot
(I changed it in the grub.conf).

The Oracle Enterprise Manager does NOT seem to install and Oracle support
seems to have no solution for that. Also I noticed that after a product is
installed the installer crashes when trying to install the next, but if you
install one product at a time (exiting and starting the installer between
product installs) it seems to work fine.

It took a lot of tries to get the process down.
