I have been using Fedora Core on my workstation at work, but I have been
less than happy with Fedora Core 2, a recent kernel upgrade completely
broke my ability to burn CDs and the last batch of updates completely
broke CUPS on this system. I'm more familiar with using Redhat than
using any of the other distributions of Linux and I wanted to stay with
using something that I could use without a lot of problems.

I've tried out Whitebox in the past and I liked how it performed, and I
had most recently used whitebox to deploy a remote SSH server here at
work that is running like a top.

So I decided to load Whitebox Linux 3.0 Respin 1 on my workstation.

I'm on disk 2 and eagerly looking forward to seeing how well it works
for me on this Celeron 2.6 GHz system with 640 MB of ram. :)

will send an update later on today.
