I'm using Adaptec SATA raid enclosures with my WBEL systems without any
problems. The kernel module they use is 'aacraid'. They aren't the
fastest things in the world, but they work OK and WBEL installed without
any extra work. My only grouch is that the monitoring daemon supplied
by Adaptec uses about 50-75% cpu continuously - which is not really
acceptable in a production server - but not running the daemon is OK,
you just loose the notification of events such as a disk failing.
