Hear, hear, i have a mail server and since Samba 3.0.6, yum update 
insists on installing Samba, and qt-something although i have nothing in 
the machine not even nearly to Samba nor X/KDE.

I have my own mirror in my company, but it won't avoid the problems.
If there are, they're heritaged to my local mirror.
