Hello,
=20
I am trying to compile and install a NIC driver for a 3com 3c2000
(10/100/1000) NIC.
=20
http://support.3com.com/infodeli/tools/nic/3c2000/usr_guide.pdf
=20
The steps on the install guide says to extract the source then type
"make" then type "make load".=20
=20
All this seems to work well, however when the system reboots it does not
detect the NIC,
=20
Do I need to move the 3c2000.o file somewhere? Or is there some command
to make the Kernel see it?
=20
On a side note WBEL R1 does not see this card during the install, but
SuSe 9.1 does can someone tell me why this is?
=20
Also is there a way to install the driver during install? There is no
driver disk available for this NIC on 3com web site.
=20
=2E...any help is appreciated
=20
=20
Thank-you
=20
