[WBEL-users] No Serial ATA Driver for WB latest kernel and SIL3114???

I came across this thread as we were having the same problem.  The SI
Chipset is Native SATA and our server provider was trying to have use
Highpoint which is bridged.  After a lot of searching we found what we
needed actually on the Tyan FTP Site:

ftp://tyan.com/drivers_linux/Silicon_Image/3114/sii6514_RHEL_3_update1.zip

 

Although when downloaded it says "64 Bit" it contains the 32 bit drivers
also.  

 

This should help a lot of people as I know this is one of the most popular
onboard SATA Raid chipsets. :-)
