Hello,

Sounds like you are trying to install Oracle 9i on WB. The problem and the
solution is described below:

However if you are trying to install 9i for x86 on an AMD64 you get a
similar problem but the solution in that case is to install 9i for x86_64.

Have you followed Werner Puschitz's instructions?
http://www.puschitz.com/OracleOnLinux.shtml I just intalled 10g Database
on WBEL
and had no problrms.
