The guys at Extreme (http://extremenetworks.com) and Foundry 
(http://foundrynetworks.com) would very strongly dispute your opinion I 
would say. I use Extreme 5i and Black Diamond switches myself and the 
performance is exceptional to say the least. You get what you pay for.
