[WBEL-users] Newbie Linux user

Hello everyone this is my first posting to this list.

I am looking to take the first steps to fully move myself to the Linux
world.  I have in the past played around with farious dirtros
(Mandrake, Redhat) so I have "some" knowledge on what I am doing, but
not a pro by any definition.

My needs are simple, USB support, P4 H/T support, and an office type
program.  The latter I have covered, but the first two I am unsure
about.  I have a converted laptop drive from IDE to USB that I use to
shuttle information around.  I have had sucess with XP and OS-X on the
plug and play end and was wondering if this is also true with WB. 
Also, will WB notice the H/T upon install or will I have to do some
work to get that going?
