[WBEL-users] Compiling Apache 2?

I download apache (slightly older release) 

wget http://archive.apache.org/dist/httpd/httpd-2.0.48.tar.gz
tar -zxvf httpd* 
cd httpd-2.0.48 
./configure; make; make install; 

results in an Apache build that segfaults when I try to start it - no log 
entries that I can determine. 

Anybody else run into anything like this? I've tried setting setenforce 0 to 
make sure that selinux wasn't the cause...
