FYI:

The Dell power edge units shut down the system but not the power supply
fans. So there is no fix. See always on. The "hum" never stops.

Has anyone played with WBEL on a Poweredge 1850?

I did a couple of installs the other night, but tonight I've found out
that shutting down doesn't actually power down the box (and they're
kinda
loud...).

Does anyone know the fix before I go rooting around reading the entire
internet?
