[WBEL-users] Problem with up2date

I run WB-3.0 on several workstations, and yesterday and today I was busy
updating them using up2date.  However when I ran up2date on one of the
workstations, it reported that the machine was fully updated.  I check a
few of the rpms with rpm -q and found that indeed the machine was
running the earlier versions.

 

I suspect that the rpm database on that machine somehow was corrupted.
How can I check that, and how do I repair it?
