Hi Library Southwesters,
Below is info from Overdrive concerning purchasing MARC records supplied by TLC instead of OCLC.
We pay $1.50 per OCLC MARC record currently.

Hi Loretta,
We're in pilot with TLC for MARC records currently, so there isn't a sign up option just yet, but they will be $1.00 per full record, .25 cents for a minimum record.
Thanks
Simon

[Side note - April issue of LAD (Library Administrator's Digest) discusses the Penguin/Overdrive situation. It was in my box this morning.]
A couple of questions:
1. I am going to contact Bibliofile to get pricing for MARC records for our Overdrive selections but need to know "Library Name Registered with Overdrive" now that we are a consortia. Please advise.
2. When we select records from Content Reserve will we get MARC records and will they cost the same as for other selections?
Thanks as always,
Loretta
