    Thanks for the additional info.

    I've decided to test the upgrade theory on an image of my mail server
locally, and see what the problems will be.

    I *am* prepared for a clean install and migration. I'm just going to
*try* and avoid it.

    Yeesh- I'm a RedHat fan.... but why didn't they make an upgrade path
for us users? It just seems damned stupid they didn't.
